JURY

Application rules:

1. Applications are accepted at the information desk no later than 30 minutes before the start of the selected competition category.
2. During the registration process the model will receive a number assigned to the selected category.
3. The event leader calls up the models in numerical order and competition categories.
4. The models must be available for the Jury’s evaluation, we don’t accept photos of tattoo.
5. The Jury evaluates the submitted works in terms of their compliance with the category, as well as the composition in relation to the body and other tattoos, the contrast of light and shadow, the colour contrast and the overall aesthetics of the work.
6. Presented works should be properly prepared for the competition, skin should be shaved and moisturized.
7. Proper preparation of a tattoo for the competition significantly affects the overall impression of the presented work.
8. The work can be submitted only to one competition, the same works will not be re-evaluated by the Jury!
9. The qualifying condition for the Best of Day I and Best of Day II categories is to perform a tattoo from beginning to end during one or two festival days.
10. Prizes will be awarded at the end of each day.

Micro tattoo

• Free style, only limitation is the size, which may not exceed A5/postcard format
• The work submitted to the competition can be made in both black and colour.
• The idea, aesthetics to the body and fit to the size concept will be evaluated.
• The tattoo can be made before (healed) as well as during the event.

 

Colour tattoo up to A3

• We evaluate tattoos that are no larger than A3 format, made using multiple colors.
• Tattoo can be done with any technique.
• We will assess the play of colors and their matching to the whole composition.
• Tattoo can be made before (healed) as well as during the event.

Black tattoo up to A3

• We evaluate tattoos that are no larger than A3 format.
• The work can be done with any technique.
• The game will be evaluated in one color – black, with different degree of saturation.
• The tattoo can be made before (healed) as well as during the event.

 

Crazy one / Best funny idea

• The idea and execution will be evaluated.
• The size of the work does not matter, the style is free.
• The tattoo can be done before (healed) as well as during the event.

Best of a Day I

• Oceniamy tatuaże wykonane wyłącznie podczas wydarzenia.
• Tatuaż musi powstać od początku do końca podczas I dnia.
• Niedopuszczalne jest dokańczanie/ odświeżanie wcześniej rozpoczętych prac.
• Technika , styl i rozmiar dowolne.

Cartoon / Neotraditional tattoo

• We evaluate tattoos made in the style of comics, cartoons and neotraditional.
• We will pay special attention to elements characteristic for this style, the way of making them.
• The tattoo can be made before (healed) as well as during the event.

 

Geometric tattoo

• We evaluate tattoos made in geometric style.
• We will pay special attention to the characteristic elements of this style, the way they are made and the symbolism.
• Colourful works as well as those in shades of black and grey can take part in this category.
• The tattoo can be made before (healed) as well as during the event.

 

Collaboration

• We will evaluate tattoos made by more than one artist, constituting one coherent composition.
• The work can be made with any technique.
• The tattoo can be made before (healed) as well as during the event.

 

 

Tattoo inspired by sport/music

• We will evaluate black and gray and color tattoos whose themes are related to sport and/or music.
• The size and style of the work does not matter.
• The tattoo can be done both before (healed work) and during a convention.

 

Best of a Day II

• We evaluate tattoos made only during the event.
• The tattoo must be created from beginning to end during day one.
• It is not allowed to finish/refresh previously started work.
• The technique, style and size are optional.
